  1. Dr.Amarnath. K who was former Head Of the Department of Civil Engineering was given the recognition of being the Director Of  The Oxford Educational Institutions.
  2. Dr. Malleshaiah T.S who was Formerly the Senior faculty in the department was given the recognition of being Head Of The Department.
  3. Ms.Radhika, Asst.Proff, has Cleared the Entrance Exam for Ph.D in UVCE, Bengaluru.
  4. Dr. B K Raghu Prasad, Former IISc professor and chairman Dept of Civil Engg, former chairman of Centre for campus management and development(CCMD), IISC  and currently advisor , CCMD , IISC is mentoring the Faculty and Students in the research and consultancy work.   He has published over 198 research papers in National ,International conferences and Journals. Also, he has guided 26 Ph.Ds, 07 MSc Enggand over  45 ME dissertations. He is mentor and performance auditor of several colleges under the TEQIP programe (world bank funded with MHRD)
  5. Dr Amarnath.K(Director of The Oxford Group of Institutions) received Best Paper Award for the paper “Tension fitting in aerospace industry” from Research wing in Hyderabad.
  6. Dr.Amarnath K has been appointed as  VTU LIC member.
  7. Dr. Malleshaiah T.S has been appointed as BOE and BOS in VTU
